Privacy and Confidentiality
Vancouver Speed Dating Club is 100% committed to your privacy. We respect and understand the importance of your privacy, and will not sell, share, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties except as expressly provided herein. Vancouver Speed Dating Club reserves the right to release your information if compelled to do so by proper government and judicial authorities.
Vancouver Speed Dating Club uses your personal information to add you to our mailing list and may use this information to inform you of upcoming events or other information unless you request in writing to be removed from our mailing list.
When you register with Vancouver Speed Dating Club, you give permission for us to forward your name and email address to any participant with whom there is a mutual "match". We will not give any additional information to your "match," and we will not share your personal information with anyone who is not a mutual "match."
Indemnity of All Members:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vancouver Speed Dating Club and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, associates, principals, owners and affiliates from any and all loses, claims, damages, disappointments, or expenses (including fees) arising in result of your participation in our events. You agree to take sole responsibility for your participation in Vancouver Speed Dating Club events, including any communications, meetings, or dates that you arrange with other participants in our events.
Copyright
All designs, trademarks, logos, service marks or otherwise offered by Vancouver Speed Dating Club are exclusively owned by Vancouver Speed Dating Club. Title, ownership, and intellectual property rights are vested solely in Vancouver Speed Dating Club. Unauthorized use of any of the aforementioned is prohibited.
Conduct
In registering for any Vancouver Speed Dating Club event, you agree that you shall not ask for any other participant's contact information directly. You agree not to make lewd, sexual, or otherwise inappropriate remarks, and you agree not to ask lewd, sexual, or otherwise inappropriate questions. You agree not to make any physical gestures or behave in a manner which is lewd, sexual, or otherwise inappropriate. You shall not touch anyone lewdly, sexually, or otherwise inappropriately. You agree not to follow anyone home (or to any other place), stalk, harass, or otherwise intimidate other participants. You agree not to loiter at, outside, or about the venue after the event is over, and you agree to leave the venue's premises immediately if a representative of either Vancouver Speed Dating Club or the venue asks you to leave.
Cancellation Policy
Vancouver Speed Dating Club requires that you give notice of cancellation not less than 3 days before the event in order to have your registration changed to a different event. You must notify Vancouver Speed Dating Club of your cancellation by email (info@vsdatingclub.com). If you cancel with less than three days notice, you will not be placed in the next available event. All payments are final and non-refundable, except as expressly provided below.
If Vancouver Speed Dating Club is required to cancel an event, you will be notified immediately by Vancouver Speed Dating Club and refunded the money you paid to register. If an event is rescheduled (moved to another date), you agree to attend the new event. If the event is moved to another venue, you agree to attend the new venue. If you are unable to attend a moved or rescheduled event, you are required to let Vancouver Speed Dating Club know not less than 3 days before the event.
Use of Website
You agree to use Vancouver Speed Dating Club's website lawfully and ethically. You agree to use the website for your own personal use only. Our website contains copyrighted and proprietary information. No visitor is allowed to download or share images or text from our site. No visitor is allowed to recreate or copy our website, in full or in part, for their own use or for any other use.
Any company, organization or individual in the same industry as Vancouver Speed Dating Club, or friend, relative, individual, or employee associated with any company, organization, or individual in the same industry as Vancouver Speed Dating Club, is barred from using Vancouver Speed Dating Club's website or attending its events in order to learn "tricks of the trade." You cannot use software to examine our website's PageRank, Alexa Rank, Compete Rank, or otherwise asses our unique visitors. You cannot use our website to ascertain what venues we work with. You cannot view our website's source code. You cannot use any software on our website to check our website grade, number of backlinks, or other information. If you are a competitor and wish to attend one of our events, you must inform Vancouver Speed Dating Club that you are a competitor and obtain written permission from Vancouver Speed Dating Club's president.
Photography Release
By attending Vancouver Speed Dating Club events, you give full permission for Vancouver Speed Dating Club to use any and all pictures taken by us at our events, including photos of any person. These photos may be used for advertising, marketing and promotional purposes and will not be redistributed to any third party for any other purpose and will not be sold for any purpose whatsoever, as per our privacy agreement. These photos may be used to promote, market, or advertise Vancouver Speed Dating Club in any venue or media.
Severability
If any of the provisions contained in our Terms and Conditions are determined to be void, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such determination shall not affect the remaining provisions contained herein.
Governing Law
Our Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws applicable therein. The agreement made hereunder shall be deemed to have been made in British Columbia, notwithstanding the user's domicile, residency or physical location.
