Terms and Conditions

In order to register and/or participate in any events of Vancouver Speed Dating Club Inc. ("Vancouver Speed Dating Club"), you agree to be bound by the legally binding terms and conditions set forth in this document. Vancouver Speed Dating Club reserves the right to change the Terms & Conditions from time to time at its discretion and without notice so you should review our Terms and Conditions each time you use our website and/or services. You are bound by any such revisions. By using our website and/or registering for our events, you are accepting our Terms and Conditions. You represent and warrant that you have the right to enter into this Agreement and to abide by all its terms and conditions.

Disclaimer

Vancouver Speed Dating Club provides social events where people can meet one another, but in no way guarantees a match will take place. We are not a match-making company or a dating agency. We do not perform background checks or pre-screen participants at our events. We cannot vouch for the age, marital status, personality, sanity, or moral character of any of our participants. It is up to you to verify personal details of others to your own satisfaction. By signing up for our events, you agree that neither Vancouver Speed Dating Club nor any of its directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, associates, principals, owners and affiliates shall be liable for any damages, direct or indirect, that may arise from you participating in our events. This includes any damages, without limitation, arising out of communicating with other participants registered with Vancouver Speed Dating Club or in attendance at its events. Such damages include, without limitation, emotion distress, physical damages or bodily injury, and lost, damaged or stolen property. You agree not to initiate any claim or litigation against Vancouver Speed Dating Club or its directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, associates, principals, owners and affiliates as a result of our events. You affirm that you take sole responsibility for anything that happens at or as a result of our events, including anything that happens as a result of a meeting, communication, or date arising as a result of registering with Vancouver Speed Dating Club.

Vancouver Speed Dating Club reserves the right to exclude anyone from participation in its events without refunding your registration fee. You may be refused admittance or asked to leave an event at any time for any reason whatsoever, at the sole discretion of Vancouver Speed Dating Club. We reserve the right to refuse registration at any of events or, if registration has already been effected, to terminate registration in advance of any of our events.

Vancouver Speed Dating Club is not responsible for the condition of the venues at which our events take place. We are not responsible for any losses or damages resulting from the venues, their premises, location, or condition. If you are injured or suffer damages, person, physical, or otherwise, you agree to release Vancouver Speed Dating Club and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, associates, principals, owners and affiliates from any liability with respect therefore.

Lost, Damaged, or Stolen Property

Vancouver Speed Dating Club is not responsible for any property lost, stolen, or damaged at our events or in conjunction with our events. The act of registering with Vancouver Speed Dating club makes you solely responsible for the safety or your person and your property.

Age Minimum

Any person who wishes to participate in a Vancouver Speed Dating Club event must be 19 years of age or older. Vancouver Speed Dating Club events are intended for the use and participation of those that are 19 or over. Each participant shall be responsible for satisfying him/herself regarding the age of other participants. Vancouver Speed Dating Club shall have no responsibility or liability in respect thereof.
